Charming Stay with Delightful Character
We cherished our two-night stay in a beautifully preserved room, featuring rich historical details. Despite a few quirks like limited dining options, the hotel’s ideal location allowed us to explore the charming streets of Bruges easily. Opt for nearby eateries for diverse culinary experiences. Parking can be tricky!

Tranquil courtyard garden, historic architecture, well-designed public areas
Room sizes could use a rethink!!! The antique elevator is quite cramped and unreliable, making for less than pleasant ascents!!! A review of the maintenance issues could really elevate the experience!!!

I loved the charming period features around the lobby and the powerful shower that made my mornings brighter. There are lovely options to relax in the sauna and a nice garden area to unwind after a busy day. The room was a tad stuffy at first, but it didn't take away from the delightful atmosphere. 🌼

The Hotel Jan Brito surprised me with its historical charm and unique decor, reflecting the rich Flemish style. My room had a stunning vaulted ceiling and enough space to move around comfortably. I loved the large bathroom with a deep bathtub – perfect for unwinding after a long day. The breakfast was delightful, featuring options like scrambled eggs, bacon, and freshly baked pastries. Coffee was exceptional, a real treat to start the day. The staff were friendly and made my stay even more pleasant. the elevator was quite small – rather cramped for two adults and luggage. The restaurant choices seem limited in-house and required venturing out for more variety, but the location made that easy, just a short stroll from key attractions. I also felt the heater could have been a bit more efficient to warm the room faster when I first arrived. It’s worth noting, though, that the beautiful ambiance and thoughtful service made up for these minor inconveniences.
